Earth Day (Spring) Clean-up Day
Join in to create a better neighborhood and a better world. On Earth Day, the fourth Saturday in April, GHNAI with the greater Garden Homes neighborhood pulls together to clean up litter, trash and other debris that have accumulated over the winter.

Home Improvement Rebates
Since 2018, Garden Homes Neighborhood Association has provided nearly $30,000 in grants to home owners to repair and improve their homes. This helps both the residents and the neighborhood as a whole.
Fall Festival
The Annual Fall Festival, held at Garden Homes Park in late October, is a great way to support Garden Homes families, with merry Halloween activities for all ages.
It’s a pleasant and fun way to meet your neighborhood and help build the community. This year's event is planned for Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Thanksgiving Food Assitance
Each year, Garden Homes Neighborhood Association, Inc. provides non-perishable food and gift cards to help those in need to be able to have a proper Thanksgiving meal. This year's program is planned for Monday, November 23, 2026. Details to follow.
Chess in the School
Learning chess accelerates child development by building crucial cognitive and emotional skills. Starting in 2018, the Chess in the School program’s chess instructor conducted chess classes for first to fifth grade students at the Lloyd Barbee Montessori School. The Garden Homes Neighborhood Association, Inc. is the sponsor of the program.
