HTP - Hunger Task Force Pantry
The Hunger Task Force helps feed people thanks to both government and private support. Selected food pantries get lots of support but must follow regulations. People can only receive one allotment per month, for example, and must meet certain tests. In addtion, people 60 and over can qualify for an additional allotment called a "Stock Box". Hunger Task Force has a number of pantries throughout the Milwaukee area, but have recordkeeping designed to keep you from gettting an allotment per month from multiple pantries.
Many pantries also offer food not covered by Hunger Task Force rules, but there's no guarantee that anything will be available at any particular time.
O - Open Food Resources
These do not have Hunger Task Force restrictions, though they may have their own restrictions to insure a fair distribution of resources.
Age - Age-restricted Resources
These are programs that are restricted principally by age, such as children or youth programs (such as Hunger Task Force's "Summmer Meals" Program) or elder support programs.
