Garden Homes Neighborhood Resources

The Garden Homes Neighborhood Association, Inc. (GHNAI) consists of residents and landowners who support the neighborhood.

Monthly Meetings:  Every fourth Saturday of the month, there is a general meeting from 10:15 am. to noon held at the Atkinson Public Library.  All residents and landowners are welcome.  Besides the esablished agenda, this is a good place to meet other members as well as the leadership of GHNAI.  This is a good place to bring up issues that are directly affecting you and your neighbors.

Committees:  GHNAI also has committees that address specific kinds of issues:

• The Housing Committe - headed up by Joe Bova.
• The Park Committee - Headed up by Ethan Taxman.

Home Repair Rebate Program (HRRP)

This program subsidizes selected home improvement program and has been in place since 2018. 

Application to the Housing Committee (HC) is designed to be user-friendly.  Residential or business property owner submits an easy-to-file application;  grants are based on the total amount available and the number of applicatants.  HC notifies applicant of rebate amount HRRP will extend; applicant completes project or work totaling expense amount matching the rebate amount; applicant submits expense payment documentation; GHNAI presents matching grant amount check to applicant.
